If you love flavor in your food, come try the new Port of Peri Peri in West Bloomfield. This local halal chain made its way all the way to Michigan! Growing up, I would love going to Nandos, during our summer vacation to Pakistan. Like Nandos, Peri Peri is based upon Portguese cuisine. I first tried the Peri Peri chain in New Jersey. I was thrilled to see their menu option along with highly-seasoned sauces.
Here are my 2 cents about West Bloomfield Peri Peri, they have amazing spicy cajun chicken wings grilled to perfection. You can taste a bit of the charcoal flavor and the mouthwatering sauce in the chicken wings. I tried their Carné beef. It was very tender and the sauce created an extra creamy mixture. The chicken burger was full of flavor. Both were grilled to perfection and you can taste the juicy flavor. The lamb chops were medium and tasted great.
My recommendation would be to play around with different sauces for each dish and figure out your favorite sauce!
