My name is Alina, also known as Foodiesnapper! I am a local food influencer with a passion for food culture and tea. I began my food blogging journey in 2015 and expanded into digital media marketing in 2020. Throughout my career, I have collaborated with over 25 brands, ranging from small local businesses to Fortune 500 companies!
I was born in Pakistan but moved to Michigan at a very young age. One aspect that was always missing in Metro Detroit was South Asian-style high tea. Yes, afternoon/high tea culture originated from British colonialism, but we added our own twist and preserved our own cuisine. Over the years, I started food blogging and showcasing my love for tea time. Then, in 2021, I hosted the largest international high tea party in Metro Detroit. Today, I continue to work on promoting tea time culture and am working on starting a tea time project. As a result, I showcase my daily tea time setup on my website.
