Let’s save time on grocery shopping and cooking with boxed halal!
HEY parents, back-to-school season is starting and grocery shopping can be a hassle. For Muslim parents, it’s a special hassle going the extra mile to find halal meat shops. I am very fortunate to have discovered boxed halal. I have been using their services for the past two years. Especially last year, I found them to be very useful because I was pregnant during the start of lockdown and boxed halal became a safety precautious for us. Also, they come in very useful because you can select a wide variety of halal meat and each order comes with a recipe card.
This time, I ordered Halal Lamb Denver Ribs because I wanted to create BBQ Flavor for my family. The ordering process took less than 10 minutes and I received my meat at reasonable time
Here is my recipe
-2 garlic cloves
-4 green chili cut
-1 ½ teaspoon of black pepper
-1 table spoon of red chilli powder
– ½ large lemon squeezed or 2 tablespoon of lemon
-1 teaspoon of salt
-1 table spoon of cut coriander
-2 tablespoon of Mina’s olive oil
Marinated for 2-3 hours
Now, it’s time to grill it, I grilled for 45mins to an 1 hour at 350C to get the perfect juicy and cooked flavor.
After I got done grilling, I wanted to enhance the flavor of the ribs and created my extra special sauce. Here is a quick tutorial below:
My family enjoyed this dinner a lot and I grilled some veggies to go along with it too! Extra bonus I am adding my previous recipe as well. Don’t forget to use the code FOODIESNAPPER25 and receive $25 on $75 or more
