Hara(Green) Chicken Karahi

Background: Chicken Karahi is a Pakistani staple curry dish. Every household creates their own variation of chicken karahi with onion and tomatoes being the base. Whenever I invite guests over, I like to create one unique dish that’s different from daily staple food items.

Let’s make a heart warming Hara (Green) Karahi to impress your guests. If you want a colorful juicy flavor chicken dish, Hara chicken karahi is for you!

-3-4 tablespoons of cottage cheese

-1 tablespoon of garlic and ginger paste (or finely chopped is fine)

-1 cup of spinach

-1 cup of coriander

DIRECTIONS

  • Add your green spices in the pot, make sure you have allowed the chicken to change color and cook a little beforehand
  • Cook the chicken 10-15 minutes on medium to low heat, allowing to become one mixture and all extra liquid to be gone

Green Sauce fully being blended and oil coming up

Impress your guest with this green chicken! This karahi is flavored with green spices and can be made mild to hot depending on your spicy tolerance. I highly recommend making hara karahi if you are looking to impress your guest with a different flavor of karahi. This dish is filled with cheesy, pepper, and yogurt flavor.
