If you want to give your guest flavorful taste of crispy, salty, tangy, spicy and mouthwatering delicious dish, try Chicken Chaat. I am using Crescents Foods chicken tender to save time and enhance the extra crispy flavor
This recipe is for small aluminum tray! Feeds about 8-10 people
Ingredients
- 2 cans of chickpeas (should be already boiled)
- 10–15-piece Crescent Foods chicken tenders
- Papri/ Papdi store brought (using Halidram brand)
- 1 medium lemon
- Green chilies to taste
- One small onion
- Add your favorite chutney’s, I am using mint, tamarind, and some yogurt
- ¾ cups of Mint and Tamarind Chutney each
- 1 cup of plain Greek yogurt at room temperature
Spicy mix
- 2 tsp of garam masala
- 2 tsp of red crush pepper or chili pepper
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp & 1/2 tsp chaat Masala

Bake chicken tenders in air fryer at 350c for 30-35 mins
Cut the cooked chicken tenders into bitable size pieces
Chaat doesn’t require extensive cooking. Thanks to high quality chicken tenders, I save time on marinating and cooking the chicken
Assembly Process
Take a shallow bowl or tray
-Add washed chickpeas
-Add a layer of papri
-add squeeze lemon juice
-mix them together
-add spicy mix and chopped onion
-add pieces of chicken tender
-cover the chicken with half of the chutneys and yogurt mix
– place papri on top and layer with leftover of the chutneys and yogurt



Step by Step Layer Process
Chicken Chaat is ready to be served, please keep in mind that this should be served right away. I am not using potatoes and modified the spices based on enhance the tangy and sour taste more. I hope you like this and would give this recipe a try.
